If I was a fruit, I would be a......

Hmm......I think I would want to be either a mango or a durian.
I want to be a mango as it is sweet and colourful it also comes in a wide variety of colours:yellow, green, orange and red.I want to be a durian as it is covered in spikes to protect itself from danger. But despite its fowl smell, it has a creamy texture. mmm......

National Day Parade

I just came back from the NDP show and I'm soaking wet ! It was raining really heavily yesterday, like a ranging torrent of water, you could say it was raining elephants and whales. Speaking of whales, we also had a whale of a time watching the performences. My favourite one was the water show, a few navy boats were chasing a bunch of terrorists, and it ended with a bang.

Ancient Greece

It would be kinda cool living in ancient Greece coz no girls were allowed at school. Boys will rule! We also can go to the arena and gladiators and watch gladiators pulverise each other...Or was it the Romans that were the gladiators...Anyway the only entertainment would be plays[which I think are boring] and the Olympics which only comes once in every four years! I think i'll rather live in my comfy home and watch T.V.

Day 7: Plymoth, Stonehenge

Today, we crossed Salisbury Plain to visit the ancient stone circle of Stonehenge made up of strange and awe inspiring monoliths reputed to be over 4,000 years old. The biggest question is who built it and why.

My Holidays

Day 6 : Dartmoor

Today, we went to Dartmoor. We stopped at the Dartmoor prison . It looked really creepy as it was a misty day. Legend says that two soldiers got lost in the heather field one dark and snowing night , they fell into a small lake and froze to death. A few months later, a prisoner escaped from the Dartmoor prison, he got lost in the heather field and stopped by the very same frozen lake the soldiers froze in and in the mist , he could see two soldiers walking towards him, he was cold and starving and could not run any more he asked the two soldiers to take him back to prison. At the prison, he described the features and the uniform of the two soldiers, only to realise that they were the ghosts of the two soldiers. Some say that on a misty day like today you still can see the two soldiers. The book :The Hound Of Baskervilles was inspired by that prison

My Holidays

Day 5: Bath

Today, we visited the Georgian city of Bath with it's curative waters since Roman times . We went to the 18th century pump room where they pump the water from the hot springs and to the Baths.

My Holidays

Day 3 Scotland ,Endinburgh

Today , we went to Scotland. We were warmly welcomed by the loud noise of backpipes. We passed the countryside and saw mountain highland cows grazing on the lush green grass. We headed to the Scotland Castle where the Scotts and the English fought during medevil times .The smart Scotts poured boiling oil down the castle to stop the English , now they just charge them extra admission fees! ha ha ha. The Scotish say 'r' while rolling their tongue , it's quite tough . Try saying : the raddical red rabbit ran across the road while rolling your tongue. Anyway, we went to the Scotish soldiers detention prison , where soldiers who have committed crimes have to stay . It's not exactly the nicest , or the most cosy.

My Holidays

Day:2 Bladon

Today, we went to see one of the largest cathedral in nothern Europe , The Coventry cathedral It was bombed during the war but rebuilt again . Then we went to see Winston Churchill's grave at Bladon . Winston Churchill was the former prime minister of England during World War 2.

My Holidays

Day 1: Yorkshire

Today , we went to Yorkshire , one of the oldest cities in England . The people living there in the medevil times were'nt exacly the cleanest , or the nicest . When they finished doing their 'buissness' , they just put it in a pail, open the window , and ...... Throw it down! But before they do that, they have to shout ' Coming down!' But if you happened to be walking there , you have to shout 'Hold on !' But sometimes , nasty people would say that after they throw it down ...... Just a reminder, Do not try this at home , you don't want your neighbours getting dirty. But now we have something called the toilet bowl .

I got to try the traditional Yorkshire food, roast beef with fried bread pudding . It was quite nice ......
